Congratulations to the 100 Tyrrellers who each won a Potato Planter this month. Please send in your progress with photos and videos, especially pics of unusual tubers or bumper harvests.
This month it’s all about worms and vintage style in your garden. Any 21st century garden is incomplete without a ‘Wiggly Wigglers’ wormery and some stylish Bailey’s vintage garden accessories. We’re fortunate to have both these wonderful companies as neighbours, so here’s your chance to get green and stylish in one simple swoop – for a chance to win a Wiggly Wormery and £50 worth of Baileys Vouchers, click here!

New! Tyrrells 300g Potato Chips
Last month we told you all about the record breaking giant tuber unearthed at Tyrrells (yes, OK, “April Fools stunt” we can hear you groan….), however this month we want to talk to you about giant packets of Tyrrells. Our 300g bags have arrived in town, and they’re simply….gigantic! We’re testing them out in two varieties initially – Lightly Sea Salted and Sweet Chilli & Red Pepper, so for those of you sharing your Tyrrells on a grand scale this summer, look out for these handsome packs from quality retailers nearby. Click here if you’d like the names of some specific stockists near you.

Thank you
Thanks to all of you who bought our Valentines Day ‘Lovely Chips’ – Strawberry & Sweet Chilli Potato Chips. Jess and Helen are pictured with Frankie Deveraux of Herefordshire’s Breast Cancer Haven charity handing over the ‘lovely’ sum of £2435. Thanks also for your support of our ‘Federation of City Farms & Community Gardens’ initiative. We raised £4181 for this super charity through sales of our Roast Lamb & Shrewsbury Sauce potato chips and Parsnip & Rosemary chips. We’ll be planting potatoes with the community farmers at St. Werburgh City Farm this week. Click here to read all about the projects.

Chip buttie anyone?
To celebrate National Sandwich Week, we thought we’d invite you to share your dream sandwich recipe with us. We’ll be working with a handful of local producers to create our own effort here in Herefordshire, but we’re interested to hear what other regional delights are out there. Tyrrells potato chip butties are a ray of sunshine for us on Friday afternoons, but we’re sure you could do much better. Click here and take us to sandwich heaven. (Our favourite will receive a summer supply of our Summer Barbecue seasonal variety 12 x 150g bags a month for June, July, August)

Half Term Tyrrelling
Thanks to Hazel and her girls Iona and Keala who discovered this beauty in a pack of Lightly Sea Salted Tyrrells. They even managed to incorporate it into their half term beads and butterfilies project. Thank you!
